Founded in 1915, C. Rallo Construction Company has been a key player in the Missouri construction field for more than 90 years. Originally, C. Rallo was a small bricklaying contractor, but over our 90 year history we have become a recognizable name in the Midwest construction industry.

In 1905, our founder, Calogero Rallo, immigrated to the United States from Sicily, Italy. Recognizing the impact of the industrial revolution on American commerce and considering his experience in masonry, Calogero started a small bricklaying construction company. Through hard work, dedication, and the commitment of fundamental clients, C. Rallo survived the Great Depression. Calogero Rallo left his mark by developing C. Rallo into a small St. Louis based company.

Calogero left C. Rallo Construction Company to his five children. While struggling through the Great Depression, C. Rallo was used to complete specific masonry jobs.

Comprehending the vast scope of projects available, C. Rallo focused its efforts on the concrete field. Through the management and foresight of Calogero’s children, C. Rallo became a well-recognized local general contractor.

By completing projects such as Lambert St. Louis International Airport, the St. Louis County Government Center, and the St. Louis Convention Center, C. Rallo developed its admirable reputation as an efficient, resourceful, hard-working, and reliable Missouri construction company.

For the past 27 years, our President, Charles A. Rallo, grandson of Calogero Rallo, has helped grow C. Rallo into one of the top Midwest construction companies. Under the watchful eye and careful guidance of Charles J. Rallo, Calogero’s son and Chairman of the company, Charlie A. steered C. Rallo into the 21st century. With C. Rallo’s strong reputation, Charlie A. has been able to acquire significant jobs with chief industrial companies, specifically major casinos, sports facilities, schools, parking garages, and government buildings.

With Charles A. Rallo’s prescience, supervision, and attentiveness C. Rallo has become a recognized national contractor and one of the top Missouri construction companies with jobs throughout the Midwest, fulfilling more than 100 million dollars per year in work.
